In light of the current pandemic and in order to reduce the possibility of spreading the virus we are following CDC’s suggested hygiene practices. Houses should be 100% ready when we arrive. The property will be photographed ‘as is’ and nothing will be touched with the exception of blinds and light switches.
If at all possible we are requesting that the properties be unoccupied prior to our arrival. In Ohio we have Electronic Lock Box (SUPRA) access. For all other properties access through combo lockbox, garage door, etc. should be conveyed prior to arrival.
THE BASICS
Tips for all areas in the home
- Thoroughly clean the entire house (vacuum carpet, mop hard floors, clean countertops, clean windows)
- Turn all overhead lights and lamps ON. Lights with dimmers can be adjusted to 50%.
- Replace all burned out light bulbs
- Turn all ceiling fans OFF
- Turn all TVs OFF
- Turn all computer screens OFF
- Open blinds/window treatments to let in outside light
- Make all beds
- Remove unwanted visible items from under beds
- Remove small floor rugs and mats to reveal flooring (typically kitchen and bathroom)

- Remove dish towels, sponges, and other cleaning items. Also neatly fold and hang towels or remove.
- Remove tooth brushes, makeup, medications, soap, soap dispensers, shampoos, razors, etc. from counters, tub and shower areas.
We’re just there to photograph the home so what’s not included:

- Pick up toys or yard items
- “Photoshop” vehicles, walls, damaged walls, power lines, wall pictures, cords, etc.
We will make small adjustments to things like blinds, curtains, pillows lights, etc. but we will not touch:
- Personal bathroom items (shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, towels)
- Dishes
- Laundry
- Medications
- Electronics (including tablets, keyboards, remote controls, etc)
- Purses, wallets, etc
